The Lake Michigan Underwater Archaeology Group is a collection of both academic and advocational individuals who are interested in the future of underwater archaeology in Northwestern Michigan. All are welcome to participate and join. This site is the primary online discussion area for those who have attended Nautical Archaeology Society training sessions. Site content includes the discussion of: the Nautical Archaeology Society, shipwrecks, current underwater research, underwater archaeology, upcoming projects and training.
